So here it is at last – the draft cover for my Simply Elfje book, I hope you like it. It is not fully finalised yet and I may play with the colour scheme a bit – my aim is to reflect the theme of the blog and now I see it here this is a bit too blue at the top!
The book itself is also progressing well and will soon be somewhere near ready to submit for printing. As I mentioned before, this is a whole new learning process as I have never used CreateSpace before. There have been a few glitches along the way but I am getting to grips with it now so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly from here on. It won’t be long now!
Oh how very exciting. I have been wondering whether to use createspace myself. Is it still free ?
Yes, it’s still free! Once I know what I’m doing I don’t think it is all that difficult either – it’s just using it for the first time that taxes the brain a bit.

I posted a preview of my cover draft on Simply Elfje today.
It looks very nice, Libby! Congratulations, Catherine
Thanks Catherine, it’s coming on! 🙂
Were you able to use your own or did you use their ISBN?
The cover looks very nice too! I keep thinking I want to gather some of my Elfje together. But I just don’t feel confident in the process.
I haven’t registered a choice yet but on balance I think I will use my own, then it can have my publishing imprint on it. Go for it Jules, once you work out how to do it it’s not very difficult. (Not that I have finished it yet!)
If not this year…maybe next. 🙂
