Simply Elfje 
Yes!! I wrote a Christmas song about 30 years ago (egad, has it really been that long??) that expressed that same sentiment. It asked the question, “Why do we love each other just when we sing Christmas songs?” and expressed that “Christmas should be for all year.” That is a beautiful elfje.
I agree with this elfje – why does the goodwill just have to be at christmas?
